Comments:
After leaving Irene S. Reed High School, I attended Western Washington State College in Bellingham, WA. I graduated from college in 1967. From 1967 to 1973, I enjoyed teaching 2nd and 3rd graders at G.W. Kimball School in Seattle. In 1973, my daughter Julie was born, and I took a hiatus from teaching.
My son, John, was born a year later in 1974. From 1979 to 2000, I worked in the Japenese Travel Industry, coordinating trips for Japanese tourists visiting Seattle and Vancouver, B.C. At the present time, Im helping my husband with his insurance business in the Pioneer Square area.
When Im not busy working, I try to attend as many Seattle Mariners games as I can and enjoy going on trips to foreign countries with my friends. Some of my travel experiences include exciting trips to Spain, Italy, Morocco, Greece, St. Martin and most recently in May 2003, Belgium, Amsterdam and Luxembourg.
